Comprehensive Engineering & Overhaul Capabilities

We provide complete end-to-end refurbishment services engineered to extend machine life, improve operational efficiency, and mitigate unplanned downtime.

Initial Inspection & Diagnostic Testing

Every machine passing through our workshop undergoes rigorous receiving inspection. Electrical insulation integrity is evaluated using advanced Megger ADX 15A surge testers with 40kV power packs, verifying compliance with IEEE, NEMA, and BS EN IEC international standards.

Our engineering team cross-references legacy Parsons Peebles machines against original OEM archives and perform exhaustive dimensional verification across all mechanical interfaces.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

We perform comprehensive forensic engineering investigations to identify underlying failure mechanisms in both legacy and third-party OEM motors and generators.

Our specialists analyse electrical stresses, mechanical fatigue, thermal degradation, and environmental contamination. Detailed RCA reports provide actionable insights and design modifications to eliminate recurring field issues.

High Voltage Stator & Rotor Rewinds

We manufacture high voltage formed coils in-house and through approved global suppliers, with rapid turnaround times (HV formed coils available in 5 days).

Rewinds utilize Class H thermosetting epoxy resin systems applied via Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI). Insulation systems are engineered to withstand severe voltage transients and harsh operating environments.

Stator Core Flux Testing

Inter-lamination insulation degradation can cause localized eddy current short circuits and core hot spots, leading to catastrophic stator breakdown.

We conduct full ring flux testing using high-resolution thermal imaging to verify core lamination integrity. Where damage is detected, we perform partial re-coring or manufacture replacement core packs.

Dynamic Balancing Up to 20,000kg

Our heavy-duty dynamic balancing facility handles rotors, impellers, and turbines up to 20 Tonnes in mass, 5 metres in length, and 1.5 metres in diameter.

Balancing precision exceeds BS ISO 21940-11:2016 Grade G2.5 standard requirements, achieving tolerances as refined as Grade G0.4 for high-speed 2-pole rotating machines.

Radiator Hydraulic Pressure Testing

Cooler bundle integrity is crucial for maintaining operating temperatures in CACA and CACW machine enclosures.

All heat exchangers undergo high-pressure hydraulic leak testing. Leaking or fouled heat exchange tubes are re-tubed, repaired, or replaced with OEM-spec heavy-duty cooling radiators.

Shot Blasting & Marine Painting

External casings undergo surface preparation by shot blasting to Sa 2.5 standard in according with BS EN ISO 8501-1:2007.

We apply protective coating systems approved by AkzoNobel International Paints, engineered for C3 industrial and C5 heavy-marine corrosive offshore environments (BS EN ISO 12944-2:2018).

Export Packaging & Despatch Logistics

To safeguard machinery during international transit, we offer customized seaworthy timber crates, vacuum-sealed barrier bags, and bespoke steel transport cradles.

Vibration and shock-monitoring telemetry sensors are fitted to ensure complete protection during long-distance road, sea, or air freight.
